I LOVE Twilight!!! (Obsessed, Mike says) I gave in to all the peer pressure and read the entire saga in less than 2 weeks...including the Midnight Sun draft on Stephenie Meyer's website. I literally didn't do anything but read, making my kids fend for themselves when they were hungry. It's disgusting (and embarassing) how in love I am with a fictional 17 year old vampire. I was so sad when I was done reading. Sad to leave my happy little world in Forks and face reality again. Is that normal?! I seriously need a distraction...any other wonderfully recommended books?! I will listen to my friends' suggestions now. ;)

I feel ya Robyn. I haven't found anything nearly as satisfying to read since I finished... so I just read them all again. I read a LOT, but these have definitely been my favorite. And yes, I'm in love with Edward too.

I just read "the secret life of bees" so I could see the movie. I enjoyed the book, adn haven't seen the movie yet. I don't read anything unless it will capture my attention, so the fact that I finished it says it all.
Tia's right. The secret life of bees WAS good... not Twilight good, but still good. The movie was only OK.
The Secret Life of Bees is good..I read it to Celeste and the movie is a great chick flick! Go see it! I really liked the book Eragon..for those who like Fantasy. There is a whole series, which I want to read. I also read Desperaux to Celeste, which is coming out as a movie..good book to read to your kids cause it's fun and you and your kids will like it!

hahaha that's awesome Robyn!!!! I'm so glad you finally read it!! Now have you seen the movie? I actually just read...the Harry Potter series. BUT I know EVERYBODY has already read those! They are a fun read! Don't worry, we are all in love with Edward or Jacob! Have a great Christmas!! Tell Nadja I say hi and we miss her!
